Hi Ben – sorry I’ve only just seen your comment!
Unfortunately working full-time on top of all the music and running Acoustic Edinburgh is slowing down everything I want to do.
You’re not the first to be badgering about the Gecko 3 album so rest assured it’s beginning to make good progress. Can’t give a launch date just yet but you’ll be the first to know on the Gecko 3 blog.
It has as much priority as my solo album which I’ve been wanting to do for years so both will definitely be out as early as possible in 2010!

that’s nice to see you’ve been busy… nice to read a bit of Edinburgh festival too… miss it!
So here I am again as last time we wrote you said there was a cd coming in july from the Gecko crew so what’s up with that? anything out yet? didn’t see anything about it on the gecko page?

Hi Paul, I never saw your reply from previous message… but thanks… let me know when it’s up and running! (plus, the discount idea sounds good but you never said if there was any additional things with the cd such as booklet that would make me want to get it:-D). Anyway, been enjoying these tracks and will definitely be checking for the new cd in July…
Maybe meet again sometimes in germany or elsewhere…

Hey Ben – yeah we’ve been a bit slack about getting our online shop up and running but I’ll be sorting out Pay Pal for the actual CD’s (Mentum and Mo’ Mentum) over the next couple of weeks & drop you a line. I’m sure we can sort you out a discount since you bought the MP3s : )
Also we’re planning to release our album in July followed by a European tour so we may be heading your direction!

Hi Paul,
we met a while back at a gig in Edinburgh… just came across the Mentum cd of Gecko after i have moved away from scotland and remembered the last time I saw you guys was when you had just received your new cd, that was at the jazz bar (again a while back!!) but had to go before i could buy it from you guys!!
So i just got it from scotloads only to realise after purchase that it was mp3 files!! so i’m a bit desappointed as i still prefer a little cd but now that i bought it once i was wondering if there was anything special with the cd (as booklet) and if there were any ways to buy it and get it sent to germany??
oh well, maybe you can drop a wee line on my email address!!
Apart from all that, all the best for the year to come and all your musical projects!!
